ü The second group, consisting of 27 new women, has
been actively engaged in carpet weaving training.
ü Training started on 01 Feb, 2025 and is
scheduled to be completed within 3.5 months (similar to Group
1).
ü The participants have completed the basic weaving
techniques and are now working on their first carpets.
ü 9 carpet weaving looms have been fully set
up.
ü All required raw materials, including threads, dyes, and tools,
have been provided.
ü Alongside weaving skills, women are receiving business
management and marketing training to help them sell their products
independently.
ü Sessions on women’s rights, family well-being, and
financial literacy are also being conducted.
ü Families are beginning to see economic improvements as they
prepare for their first carpet sales.
ü Community leaders and stakeholders are actively involved in
ensuring project success.

ü Completion of the first batch of carpets by the trainees.
ü Strengthening market linkages to ensure direct sales and
sustainable income generation.
ü Preparing for the next phase, ensuring that women can transition
to independent production.
