Cash Assistance Distribution for Women
To strengthen and encourage women engaged in
carpet weaving and other handicrafts, the Immunity and Survival National
Organization (ISNO) distributed cash assistance to selected beneficiaries. The
women expressed deep appreciation for the support, stating that it would enable
them to sustain their livelihoods independently in the future. Most of these
women are the primary breadwinners of households consisting of four to seven
members.
ISNO continues to provide technical support to
the women who are covered under its training and financial assistance programs.
The organization maintains regular contact with them, both in person and
online, to ensure continued guidance and follow-up.
It is worth noting that these initiatives were
initially launched with financial support from UN
Women. The primary objective of the program is to promote financial
independence and self-reliance, ensuring that women directly manage and control
the production and related economic activities of the industries in which they
are involved.
To
achieve these goals, ISNO organized a series of training sessions, not only in
production skills but also in market management and business practices. As a
result, a number of these women are now independently managing production,
purchasing raw materials, and selling their products on their own.
